The story takes place on a farm on a prairie. We feel that this setting supports the story because in the time period this story takes place many people live on a farm. This story could not take place right now because there are not arranged marriages.

The setting for this story take’s place around the house. This story is about stuff that happed long ago because they rode in a wagon. They didn’t have swimming pools so they swam in the cow pound. They didn’t have cars so they had to ride in wagons or by horses.

The setting of this book is on the prairie at a farmhouse. This story takes place a long time ago because they ride in wagons and do not have electricity. They also raised their own food and animals to eat.
