The author’s purpose is to entertain you. She could be from the past. She might be writing about someone that she remembers someone from the past. It might entertain her like us. She must love writing. She likes to be creative with the stories.
My father who is an established Egyptian writer for children gave me this book before I became a step mum. the purpose of the author, i think, is to help in getting rid of the negative image of step mothers in general. Another purpose is to tell children to accept them. The book taught me to be myself and to know myself: not to get involved or commit myself in this relationship unless i am sure i can be a real mother to the children
